Of course, if I could sleep through the next two weeks, I wouldn't mind at all. I feel just fine when I'm asleep. Since I haven't blogged in over a month - I guess I should make the formal announcement. Baby #3 will grace our household at the beginning of next year. !! We're excited to have another Asp - just may get a boy after all? Unfortunately, the excitement has waned during these last difficult 2 months. I hope that I'll be feeling better soon and I can get excited again. I've started watching the TLC Baby Show and Bringing Home Baby shows again. I only watch those when I'm pregnant. However, mostly I wish that I was at the end of my pregnancy like those women are. I've really had it bad this time. I've basically been in bed or on the couch all day for the last 6 weeks. Steve quit his job right at the beginning of my morning sickness and has taken on the job of EVERYTHING since then. The girls refer to him for everything and don't bug me for anything. He's had to learn how to handle all the house stresses, and is still learning, but I think it's been good for him. I know it's been good for me. Nice not to have to do things. He brings me all my food and anything else I ask of him. He even painted my toenails one day! I feel really bad that I'm not giving the girls an adventurous summer. They don't complain, but I do hate seeing them watching TV and playing computer all day. They do play with each other to a point as well. They love to make messes and I'm teaching Steve to make them responsible for the clean-up as well. They love to ask about the baby. Everynight they sing to the baby and rub my belly and give it a kiss. It's absolutely adorable. Emily tells me all these made up names she comes up with. Yesterday is was Oma Asp. She even added it to a list of all our family names she wrote. I told her that Oma means grandma in German, but that didn't seem to bug her at all.
Yesterday I convinced myself to go sit out on the porch and watch the girls. They were absolutely adorable. They would run to the backyard, get daddy to fill up their buckets and then run to the front, dump out the water and stomp in it 50 times. Then they would see how many footprints they could make! Ella later decided to use our large watering can. It was so funny to see her lugging that around the house, humming the tune to, Ho, ho the mistletoe. Then she would use all her strength and water all the dead flowers. (Yes, I've done NO yardwork and it shows!!) She was adorable. I actually went inside to find the camera, but had no luck. They are very sweet to me.
Steve and the girls have gotten into Wii golfing lately. I'm glad they can have fun together, although it's making me lose my resolve to make Steve return the Wii.
Steve's been working on getting things ready for a yard sale this Saturday. I feel bad that I'm not involved - I actually like that kind of thing. Hopefully we'll bring in some cash though.
Steve has yet another interview (his 4th) with Geico next Tuesday. I'm hoping that will be the last and then we'll get more particulars. The job wouldn't start until Aug.20, and then he'd be out of state training for 3 months!! I'm not very fond of that, but I'll hopefully be feeling better by then and I can get my bonding time in with the girls!
We'll it's taken me several sessions to write this post, and I think it's time to eat again! Notice my new Widget under Ella's picture!

I love the widget! I've never seen that one before. Sorry things are still stressful in the Asp household. You're in our prayers and thoughts.
So good to see you blogging again. We all have missed you. We hope that you get your strength and energy back soon and that all will go well with the garage sale and the interview. Love you lots!
Sorry I hadn't seen this new post yet! I LOVE the widget- how exciting! 198 days doesn't seem TOO far away, does it? :) I am SO sorry you've had such a rough couple of months. Your girls have such a fun daddy and you have such a sweet husband (I mean, come on, painting your toenails? How sweet is that?!) Best wishes to Steve with his job interviews. I know your family will be blessed. I hope that I can get up to your house soon and see my cute nieces again. Sorry we've been so crazy busy lately with vacations and all. I remember how hard the first trimester is- it's miserable. But just remember those sweet babies being delivered in the Baby Story shows! You are doing a wonderful job with your girls this summer and it sounds like they are happy and content just being home with you and daddy! Best wishes in these next few stressful weeks. You can do it! And it will be worth it!
I think that is so cool you have a picture of what your babies growth is. I hope things are going better for you guys. Love ya
