We got her to her classroom and gave her quick hugs. Then I waited impatiently at home to hear about her day! Here she is getting off the bus.
Now I know what it's like to send a kid off to school. I had to drag every detail out of her and I still don't think I got much. But she said she liked it. She has 3 neighborhood/preschool friends in her class. Here she is all ready for the 2nd day.

And here's Ella wishing she could go to school! She's having a hard time waiting for preschool!
So I now have an official kindergartener! Here's Ty on his baptism day! It was a beautiful meeting and the spirit was very strong. Ty is a great boy and I hope he'll remember this special day.
Here's Ella waiting for it to start. And the 4 girls together with Karyssa.

Lastly, here's my gross-out pictures. Maybe at least Dan will appreciate them. I was getting something off the fridge the other day and noticed this.

It's an ant stuck in a fridge clip. Now how do you supposed it got stuck in there all by itself? Everyone denied doing it. It's just weird - maybe an ant suicide. Reminds me of the AFV video of the bee stuck in the fridge door and it pulls it's leg off to free itself. Sorry, just thought you needed a gross-out moment!

Cute! She looks grown up, doesn't she! The clothes (and gir) and darling. Can't believe that she is going to school. And poor Ella! I am sure that it is very lonesome for her.
Best of luck on the openhouse and we expect another blog tomorrow all about it. Love you lots!
Well, I should have spell-checked the first message. Hope you get the idea that Emily looks darling!
It's so hard to send them on the bus that first day! I'm sure she'll continue to enjoy it! Good luck with preschool!
Hopefully, Ella is as good at entertaining herself as Karli is. We've been quite pleasantly surprised with how well she plays by herself. But then, I guess you always have a houseful with the preschool.
What a cutie, give her a hug for us!
Emily was ADORABLE on her first day of school! I can't believe she's so grown up! This will be such a fun experience for her. I love her outfits and she looks so happy and excited to be big enough for school and riding a bus. I bet Ella is lonely for her! I know she'll love preschool with Mommy though. Good luck with everything- I know it's sure a busy time of year for you. And shouldn't I be finding out soon if I'm getting a baby niece or nephew?? :) Loved the ant picture. I think Steve did it. I've seen him kill flies- it's not pretty...
