Pre-Christmas Post

Wow! I haven't posted for a month! Life has been busy...here's some of the fun events from lately.

Thanksgiving break, Lynn and I decided to be adventurous (ok...Lynn's always adventurous!) and take Trax to SLC to visit the Children's Museum in the Church History Museum.
Ella absolutely LOVES the babies and the hospital nursery there.
Emily's taking good care of the babies too!
When I got back from changing Eden, Lynn was playing a letter game with the kids on the rug. They absolutely loved the attention from Lynnie, but I was like "We came all the way to the museum in SLC to play on their letter rug??? I have one of those in my basement!!" But I bit my tongue and let them have fun!
Emily reads the story of Lehi's dream.
A sister missionary volunteer helps the kids make their own scripture scrolls.
Even Eden likes to take care of the babies!
The first weekend in December, our family took a trip to St. George for Sloane's baptism. We enjoyed visiting with Chris' family as well. Sloane was so beautiful and so excited to get baptized! She is such a sweetheart!
The girls love Sloane and loved cuddling up to her while she read them a story!
Emily's been in a city art class and entered a drawing into the Christmas art show. We got to see it displayed with a participation ribbon at an awards assembly. She chose to depict the song, Silent Night.
Eden LOVES any kind of scrap of paper she can find. We've had the doors off the bathroom cupboards for awhile and it was hard to keep her away from the toilet paper rolls!
I'll do another post on the bathroom reconstruction later, but here's the hole in the floor and ceiling we've been dealing with.
Ella had another dance recital. She was cute, but the little girl next to her wouldn't let go of her hand, so she had a hard time doing all the moves!
Ella LOVES her little sister!! (Usually a little too much!) And here Eden is actually enjoying it as well!
I'll get my Christmas post up soon! But I'll end with two Ella-isms. I told Ella it was her half-birthday the next day. Next thing I knew she had all the art supplies out and was making birthday invitations for all her friends! I felt bad to disappoint her...but it was cute! One morning I asked Ella how she had slept. She replied, "I don't know because I fell asleep!" I guess she's right!

Great pictures. I'm wondering how one uses the toilet in your home right now without feeling watched from up above?
