Mason picked out these PJs because they were pink like Barney.
Let's just say I'm glad this isn't normal for me! This week I watched Tanna and Mason on M&W and Mason on Tuesday. Jill had school canceled on Thursday and then convinced Paige and Lynn to relieve me on Friday. Emily, however, LOVED having Mason over! He's such a sweet kid and lets Emily dominate playtime. Most of the time they played Hercules and Meg. Since we are trying to break gender stereotypes at our house (yeah, right) Emily was always Hercules and Mason was always Meg. They happened to like it that way. However, when they played Dora and Boots, Emily was Dora and Mason was boots. Steve says she takes after her mother, dominating the man in her life! Well, at least she can stick up for herself! Ella, however, was either trying to baby Tanna the whole time, or yelling, "No, Tanna!" at her. Here's some pics of how Tanna looked about 90% of the time. We had a few casualties through the week, including our coffee table. (Don't worry, we can fix it!) They ended up sleeping over on Wednesday night because Jill got stuck in the Ranches when they closed the Main road. Here's what E,E & Mason were doing when I checked up on them in the morning. Tanna slept through the night fine (after finally going to bed around 10:00, but decided she was done at 5:00 am). Luckily she lay quietly in bed with us and actually konked out again later. Thursday morning when I was doing my hair, I got out my hairspray and set it on the counter. Tanna was watching me. Now just imagine the scene in Bugs Life where the bug is attracted to the light zapper. Tanna's eyes bugged out and reminded me exactly of that. I could just read her thoughts, "WOW, something I'm sure I'm not supposed to touch! But it's so pretty! I want it! I NEED it!" It was priceless! I'm sure she was glad to see her momma again. Mason, however, had a blast and would have stayed forever!

I'm sure that was a crazy week for you (and a crazy night with all those kids!). I had Mason and Tanna today and they were good. Natalia was exactly like Ella though and would yell, "MINE!" every time Tanna had something of hers. They sure are cuties and Natalia loved having kids her age to entertain her. Loved the pics!
P.S. How on earth did they break your coffee table?
Well, aren't we glad that kids usually come one at a time! I can't imagine how mothers of multiples do it. You did well in an emergency situtation. Glad that you are back to "normal". Doesn't just two seem quiet now!
This scenario seems oddly familiar... :) Okay, mine are 4 under 7, but still- 4 kids are a lot of work, huh? The pictures are darling! It's so cute to hear about Emily and Mason playing. They both have such big imaginations! I'm not surprised about the coffee table. My kids can destroy anything! Which is why it's good to have inexpensive furniture, right? :) It was sure fun to hear about your adventures. Are you and Steve ready for twins??
Kim, so good to hear from you! What a great looking family! So, do you, Paige, Lynn and Jill all live by each other? If so, that is so nice! I haven't lived by any of my family members since I left BYU in '98. Maybe someday....
Love the pics. Even with a hectic week you were still able to manage some pictures into the busy week.
