Here's our pics from FHE last week carving our pumpkins. Ella chose to paint hers, then was disappointed that it took so long to dry. Emily chose to carve hers, then was disappointed that she had to touch the pumpkin guts! But they had a lot of fun and loved looking at their pumpkins on the porch all week!

Here's Ella on her preschool fieldtrip. Emily had a fieldtrip to another pumpkinland on the same day and time! So she decided to go with the kindergarteners and I had to miss hers.

On Friday we went to Emily's school to watch the school parade. Luckily we made it almost all the way through before it started sprinkling softly. It was fun to see all the kids costumes, especially since I know so many kids from preschool, church and the neighborhood. I just checked her out early after that (as probably did 3/4 the school.)
We went home to rest and get ready before the Main Street retail trick-or-treating. Steve was able to get home early enough to go with us. However, I think that's the last year we'll do that. The girls really don't like the crowds and it's a lot of walking. They didn't enjoy it very much.
However, they LOVED trick-0r-treating around the neighborhood! This year they both ran from door to door and loved saying "trick-or-treat!" They looked adorable and we got a lot of nice comments from our neighbors! It was a nice night and we made it up and down the street before we felt guilty and stayed home to answer the door. It's so fun to go together that we just have to miss the first hour of door answering. The girls sat on the stairs the rest of the night with fistfuls of candy waiting for the door to ring! They were very generous and we still ended up with too much extra candy! I was sure worn out from all the walking and had a hard night.
Here's some other random cute pictures from our weekend.
Enjoying the Sunday rain.
Another haircut!
Bedtime story!

Delightful! What fun to see your family as Oz characters. The pictures of the preschool trip are fun too. Halloween was a big deal for the Asps! Glad you made it through and that you can concentrate on other things now.
They looked adorable. Next year -- 5 costumes!!
Your pics were adorable. I think it is great Steve dresses up. I wish I could talk Chris into doing it. Looks like you guys had an eventful week.
LOVED the pictures! Such fun, precious moments to remember. You guys are the funnest parents for those adorable little girls. That last picture in the leaves was priceless! It was so fun to read about your activities. The preschool kids were so cute and you were a very cool pregnant wicked witch! :) The pumpkins were very cute too and I love how E&E are always so happy and full of life. Next year you'll have three little girls to dress up!
