Family Fun

We went to the mall one evening on one of my "deal" runs. I was able to get 2 shirts, a necklace and sunglasses for FREE from Aeropostle. The girls entertained themselves by showing off how cute they were!
They loved finding the map of the mall and helping us find our way around!
Especially to the playland area!
Steve had a daddy-daughter date to a motorcycle show. They were pretty photogenic!
We love to read stories together on my bed at night! Eden likes to make sure she's RIGHT in the middle of all the action!
We went with Jill's family to Trafalga the week after school let out. The school gives out free attraction tickets and while we were standing in the LONG line, a nice lady behind us gave us seven more free tickets!! I guess it pays to be friendly! So the kids were able to mini-golf, watch the 4D mini-movie, and get some free tokens. The mini-golf and 4D movie were fun, but the tokens were EXASPERATING!!!! Half the machines were broken, half didn't dispense the tickets, the skeeball machines only had one ball each, etc. Then waiting for and picking prizes with the tickets was even worse. Well, the kids didn't seem to mind, it was just the adults that were exhausted by then!!
One Saturday we decided to go to IKEA for some new dressers (see previous post). The kids love going there because there's a free playland they get to go to for 1 hour. That gives the adults 1 hour to shop kid-free!! Even better that that was that we happened to get there for their princess festival. The princess of Sweden was getting married that day and they had lots of activities to celebrate it. They got to make flower headbands, wands, and they got free face painting and a free balloon animal. And they got free Princess cakes from the restaurant. Lucky day for us!
This was my garage sale find. I couldn't resist getting these cute homemade beds for the girls and their dolls.
On Father's day Steve wore one of the new shirts I got him. The girls immediately went to change and came out matching him! Poor Steve had a terrible backache and was resting on the floor. So cute!

Such cute girls! (And their parents are cute too!) I think the doll beds are great - but they need a grandma there to make a canopy and matching bedding for each!
