Make believe

Well, grandma got this fabulous idea to make us some dress up props for Christmas. (Where does she come up with all these great project ideas??!!:) On Christmas day they were just kind of thrown aside. But now I finally got some hooks on my playroom walls. (Yes, M&D, I did it myself - I couldn't do it on the back wall, but I found another good spot.) On Tuesday I had all the costumes for 3 little pigs out. Today I got the 3 Bears costumes out! E&E and the preschool kids have had a BLAST! For the 3 pigs, I also had my large blocks out and the kids had a great time building up a house and letting the wolf blow it down!

Today Emily put on the Goldilocks apron and Ella put on a the grandmother dress and they danced and danced on the ice skating rink I have out for preschool Olympics. Then, Emily told Ella to go lay down sick in the playroom, but Ella insisted, "No I make dinner." Emily was playing that the nice wolf had died and she knelt down, buried her head in her hands and started crying. Ella came over and patted her head. It was cute, but I definitely think Emily should have won an Oscar or something. Time to get her into acting classes, maybe she could make some movies and Steve could quit working!! Anyway, they looked adorable!

Here's Emily at preschool today - we're learning about the Olympics!

Oh, this made my day! Such cute little actors you have there. I am glad that they had so much fun pretending. It makes it all worthwhile! Little Emily is quite the actress! Anyway, thanks for showing the pictures to me (and the world). (I wonder who gives me all these ideas of things to make?)

Sounds fun! Reminds of me of playing make-believe when I was little.
