New Calling
Well, I officially got released as an Activity Day leader and a Relief Society Teacher today. Last week the Bishop called me to replace the 1st counselor in the Young Women Presidency. They didn't announce it until today, though. I tell you, I was shocked by that one! I thought I had at least until Emily was a Young Woman! But I figure, even if the girls don't like me, they'll LOVE Eden! :) The YW president was in the Primary Presidency with me, so I figure she already knows how clueless I am! So I will be over the Mia Maids. And since there are only 2 of them, I will also be their Sunday teacher. I got to jump right in today and attend a meeting with the bishopric, the YM presidency and the YW presidency. We pretty much spent the whole time planning this week's Bishop's Chat. I really didn't know that much time went in to planning each of those! So I think I'll be pretty busy now. Did you know the YW have temple dates, weekly activities, girl's camp, and probably MORE? I'm thinking this calling will more than adequately replace the 2 I got released from!! :)

Awesome Kim, you will be terrific! Believe me there's nothing more important than working in the YM/YW program. The Bishop obviously has a lot of faith in you.
You will be incredible in that calling!! The girls will love you and your creativity. And yes, we are well aware of how much time such a calling takes. :-)
Kim, you are a natural leader and with your talents, those girls will be well taken care of! We know that this is in preparation for your own three girls.
It definitely will replace your other 2! But it will be so much fun! Good luck!
